The Albion District Library offers a wealth of services: wireless access for your laptop computers, access to the Library's catalog and databases 24/7 from your home, office or school. The Library offers a collection of over 50,000 items: books, magazines, newspapers, books on tape & CD, videos, DVDs and puzzles for check out. The Library hosts a Local History Room, children's room, computer stations with the full Microsoft Office Suite and well as access to the Internet. Albion District Library offers a variety of programs for children and has meeting rooms for public use.

Mission: To seek to correct and prevent deterioration in the downtown business district, to encourage historic preservation, and to promote the economic development of the DDA district. As such, the DDA strives to make the downtown area a vibrant space that attracts local residents and boosts commerce in the district. Events & Services: Car cruises, downtown promotions, help in securing loans, grants to supplement business owners capital investment. Meetings: The Albion Brick Street Association meets the last Tuesday of each month. The Association gives downtown businesses a chance to network and learn valuable tools which will benefit their businesses.

Goal is the attraction, retention, and expansion of businesses in the greater Albion area. The EDC acts as a liaison between businesses and units of government. Offers a revolving loan fund, small business counseling, and technology and industrial incubator facilities in the industrial park. Free business counseling serivice every 1rst Tuesday of the month. This service is provided by working and retired executives on a one-to-one basis.

A private, non-profit organization serving the Albion area since 1968. We offer programs for infants through school-age children (3 weeks to 12 years) and have a qualified and caring staff with low turnover. Many of our staff have college degrees, CDA and High Scope Certification.
Johnson's is a state-licensed facility housed in a modern building with rooms for children of different ages. We have three fenced, supervised playgrounds, including our own adjacent wooded nature center. Johnson's is in a convenient location just a minute away from downtown Albion. We are open year-round from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Transportation to and from local public schools is provided on public school buses. Our rates are relatively low and include breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack. Family discounts are available. Johnson Child Care & Development Center is open to children regardless of race, religion, or national origin.
